About Us
We are Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue. We do not discriminate against white or other non-acceptable GSD colors. We saw a need to help out GSDs, there are so many out there so we jumped in to help. Also, since so many GSDs I have helped in the past were from the Humane Society of Elmore County, we can jokingly be referred to as Helping Shepherds of Elmore County.
Shelter Service Area
Central Alabama mostly but will consider out of state adoptions on a case by case basis. Will occasionally bring in animals from out of state.
We are a Non-Profit Group
We are a German Shepherd Rescue in Montgomery, AL. We are dedicated to helping German Shepherds of every color find new and forever homes. If you know of a German Shepherd in need, please contact us and we will try to help. We do have 501c3 status, so all of your contributions of cash or in-kind services are tax deductible and will go toward helping the animals.
